How we communicate our core values internally and externally: anticipate

At Tunity, we take our internal culture very seriously. Practice what you preach, they say.

Our archetype is central to everything we do. Our team? That is aligned with our way of working with psychological testing. And our values? Those remain in the back of our minds always and everywhere, internally and externally. In every decision, every project and every plan for the future.

That's why it appears in all of our presentations. Our clients know that all too well. And so do we? So do we, because no internal team meeting begins without asking: "Who can name me the five values of Tunity?" It is therefore only logical that we finally present them to you.

Although transparency is not one of them, we still think it is very important to give insight into our personality. After all, we can tell you about it in full color. Even better is to show it. That's what we're doing in this series of blog posts. With concrete examples of how we communicate our core values internally and externally. Let's hope you'll love it.

Anticipating: moving forward with the goat

To anticipate is to anticipate a prepared arrangement. That's what Van Dale says all about it. We look at it a little more broadly: reasoned estimation of what is to come and predicting an outcome.

We like predictability. Not the kind of predictability of boring plans and classic actions and reactions. The type that allows you as a company to know what to expect and even to anticipate the facts, with sufficient substantiation and research.

Our team is trained to spot trends long before they become ubiquitous. Our strategists analyze the market and expected developments. We make sure you know what we are doing and where we are going.

Struggles, moments of crisis or opportunities? We make sure you don't have to worry about them when it's already too late. We make sure you can anticipate in time to reap the benefits of your success or limit possible damage.

"It's easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission."

Here's how we anticipate

Celebrating Christmas in July

You wouldn't know it, but it's already Christmas in our office during the summer months, even when it's 30°C. No, the Christmas tree will stay put away for a while, we promise, but each of our clients will have a Christmas campaign meeting. No, we don't notify them of that in advance. We don't immediately ask them about a budget or ideas that are already alive internally. Initially, we engage in some fun brainstorming of our own.

We already know that Christmas is on December 25. So why not think about a fun campaign now? We conjure up ideas, as silly as it gets, and after an intensive, creative session, form a complete list of feasible and relevant campaigns that could be valuable to the client. We do this now, so that we can propose it in early fall, so that we can also start working on it in a timely manner. Our client is happy! We are happy!

PURE INTENTIONS, BY PURE WOOD DESIGN

This is also how we made PURE Wood Design happy before. In 2020, we came up with the idea of giving something back. Mascha, founder of the furniture company, always hears all kinds of exciting and beautiful stories from her customers. Family expansion, career switch, a whole new start in an unfamiliar place. All moments in which the dining room table plays an important role.

We came up with the idea of letting people tell their stories and rewarding them for doing so. One customer would win back the full purchase price of a table. No sooner said than done. We created a landing page, set up an email campaign and boosted it on social media. The registrations poured in!

The best story? That came from non-profit organization The Silence Embraced. The table of PURE Wood Design is the beating heart of the organization. People tell and listen, brainstorm and feel. The pure intention? "To sit together at this table with all non-profit organizations that work around star children, in order to evolve into a bundled care where everyone shines in their domain. The table that unites." An intention that warms our hearts.

Abort mission: COVID-19

That, of course, is a great story. But less beautiful stories are also covered. It is rather obvious: No event or trend had as much impact as the COVID-19 pandemic. Literally the whole world was upside down for quite a while. It was no different for our clients.

We do not call ourselves a saving angel. Nor, unfortunately, can we be that in such a situation. We do call ourselves a helping hand. Many of our customers saw their stores closing, their fears rising and their customers doubting. Even before the big crisis really hit, we had a plan in place for most of our customers.

This is what we are going to do, and more importantly, this is not what we are going to do. We looked for solutions to problems, large and small. More than that, we found new opportunities and tactics that are still being used today. Because they speed up processes or are simply very popular with customers. Check!

STREET HEART BY TREEPACK

It was a tough period, that very first lockdown. Forbidden to leave your home except for necessary trips to the supermarket or your essential occupation. No socializing, no outings with your closest friends, no visits to the grandparents. S*cks! Together with artist collective Treepack, we thought of a unique way to still connect with your loved ones.

With "Street Heart," artists spread heartwarming corona messages on the windows of homes throughout several cities. The initiators received more than 50 entries in a short period of time. A toddler who wanted to give a message to her friend, people who wanted to announce a wedding or baby, or grandchildren who really missed their mommy.

Predictable enough? We're happy to do it for you, too! Trust us: it will save you a lot of headaches. You no longer have to think about those special days, unexpected struggles or planned transformations. We'll do that for you. Getting started, we do that with a good conversation. Will you stop by?
