Treeco offers a total experience during and after the building process. This extends into their vision: building or renovating with high-quality energy solutions in a transparent and efficient manner. All customers know they receive value for money and understand Treeco's approach to a project. They always follow up transparently, clearly and personally. A must! Read a breakdown on how we fine-tuned their branding here.
The needs
Green, sustainability and ecology are at the heart of every home Treeco builds or renovates. And their branding needed to reflect that.
Based on workshops and a strategy, our designer got to work on a complete visual concept. The name 'Treeco' is a combination of 'tree' and 'eco'. A simple beginning of something beautiful!
Our trajectory
A design stands or falls with its colors, and Treeco is no exception. Using Rich Black and White as base colors, the intermediate shades and the main color, along with a few darker tones, were carefully refined.
Many ecological construction companies opt for green. It's likely the first color that comes to mind when you hear words like 'ecological' and 'sustainable'. But we chose a different path. The base colors remain neutral while, while the brand's main color is bold and eye-catching. Complementary secondary colors bring harmony and add diversity to the overall pallette.
Combined with a conceptually designed set of graphic forms and a clear typographic style, these elements create a cohesive and recognizable identity that is both accessible and consistent.
What main color did we choose? Blue Munsell, a beautiful shade of blue that symbolizes communication, calmness, inspiration, trust and loyalty. It evokes a sense of calm and security. Essential qualities during a construction process, right? Exactly!
In addition to these shades, we always incorporate action colors in branding, specifically for call-to-actions (CTAs). For Treeco, we chose bright orange and deep red, color tones that radiate courage, confidence, warmth, energy, power, passion and excitement. You just have to click on that, don't you?
Every logo has a message. This is no different for Treeco. The logo conveys 'a 360° approach to energy total building and renovation, and improving the customer experience'. So we carefully identified the essential elements for the logo, such as some key features of (re)building, while also highlighting the holistic aspect of our approach.
Even the font wasn't chosen at random. Montserrat, can be translated to 'serrated mountain'. A mountain in Catalonia that reflects all the selected hues. The font’s versatility across weights ensures both variety and clarity in designs.
Combine all those aspects and lo and behold, a sleek logo with a powerful baseline: build smart for better living.
