Treeco offers a total experience during and after the building process. And they extend that into their vision: build or renovate with high-quality energy solutions in a transparent and efficient manner. All customers know that they get value for money and how Treeco approaches a project. They always follow up transparently, clearly and personally. A must! Read a breakdown on how we fine-tuned their branding here.
The needs
Green, sustainability and ecology are at the heart of every home Treeco builds or renovates. And their branding needed to reflect that.
Based on workshops and a strategy, our designer set to work on a complete visual concept. The name 'Treeco' is a compound of 'tree' and 'eco'. A simple beginning of something beautiful!
Our trajectory
A design stands or falls with the colors, and Treeco is no different. Using Rich Black and White as base colors, the intermediate shades and the main color, with a few darker shades, were finessed.
A lot of ecological construction companies choose green. That's probably also the first color you think of when we play with words like "ecological" and "sustainable. Yet we took a different path. The basic colors remain neutral while we choose a striking and visible color for the brand as the main color. The harmonious secondary colors in turn add diversity to the whole.
Together with a conceptually conceived set of graphic forms and a clear typographic style, everything forms a consistent set of elements for an accessible and recognizable identity.
Which main color we chose? Blue Munsell, a beautiful shade of blue that represents communication, calmness, inspiration, trust and loyalty. It gives a calming and safe feeling. Important in such a construction process, right? Exactly!
In addition to these shades, we always work with action colors in branding, which we use for call to actions (CTAs). With Treeco we went for bright orange and dark red, color tones that radiate courage, self-confidence, warmth, energy, power, passion and excitement. You just have to click on that, don't you?
Every logo has a message. This is no different for Treeco. The logo exudes "a 360° approach in energy total building and renovation, and improving the experience of our customers. So we looked for the elements that absolutely needed to be shown in the logo, such as some striking parts of (re)building, but also let the holistic aspect come to the fore.
Even the font was not chosen at random. Montserrat can be translated to serrated mountain. A mountain in Catalonia that reflects all the chosen hues. The font allows it to be used in all weights, creating enough variety and clarity in designs.
Combine all those aspects and lo and behold, a sleek logo with a powerful baseline: build smart for better living.

The future
The whole thing was set up so that it can be used multifunctionally: in brand patterns, on vans, stationery and more. The branding appears recognizable yet in many different forms in every touchpoint the customer has with the brand. From online to offline. This way they always stay top of mind with their customers, and they can carefree grow into an established value in the sector!
