That things are going fast at Blueberry Fields, that's for sure! But why that is, we're going to tell you now. We transformed Black Friday into Blue Friday, gave social media and brand awareness a solid boost, achieved the highest webshop sales ever and introduced the, now almost iconic, cart meals. That can count, right?
The needs
Blueberry Fields is a family-run business with a strong passion for - you guessed it - blueberries. Nestled in the valley of the Zwarte Beek in Koersel, Limburg, the estate is a peaceful hideaway, far from the hustle and bustle. The domain spans an impressive 12 acres of berry plants, and they’re more than happy to share their passion with everyone, even digitally.
We boosted their awareness in the short term with a strong social media campaign. We also organized a targeted contest for blueberry fans. The grand prize? A Vespa tour for two through a beautiful piece of nature in Limburg, combined with a delicious and healthy lunch in the fields of Blueberry Fields.
It was a great success, but we didn’t stop there! After the first campaign, we kept the momentum going and shifted into a higher gear.

After our highly successful campaign, it was time to keep the audience engaged with valuable content to build a genuine fan base. Was it successful? Definitely! With facts, featured products and tips & tricks, we increased the number of followers on Facebook by 27.3%, achieved 333.7% more engagement, 189.9% more impressions and increased brand awareness by 27%! On Instagram, we more than doubled the number of followers, increased engagement by 445% and impressions by - hold on - 990.7%!
Blue Friday
Black Friday, very popular in America and now also in Belgium. At Blueberry Fields we took a different tack. Black Friday was quickly transformed into - what else? - Blue Friday.
Every year we incorporate this idea into a strategically planned marketing campaign and each time we see sales explode. Thanks to engaging social media posts, matching ads and targeted mailings, we generate a lot of additional orders. In 2024, this resulted in a whopping 89 orders and a total of 911 items sold, good for almost double the usual monthly sales. This proves how powerful a multichannel marketing campaign can be.
March 2020 will go down in history books cursed. The coronavirus made all the world stand still, but at Blueberry Fields we didn't let it stop us. We beat the virus with the highest webshop sales ever! With 194 orders and 1,895 products sold, we exceeded all expectations. Talk about a record!

Those who know Blueberry Fields also know that you can go pick your own berries every year. The corona crisis jettisoned that annual tradition. To offer visitors a dignified alternative, in line with measures, cart meals were introduced.
Karren what? Cart meals! Or the coziest picnic ever! Those who booked a cart meal could first take a walk around the grounds and then picnic at a cart in the most beautiful spots, delivered in style. For just a little while, you had your own little piece of Blueberry Fields, and could enjoy nature together with your bubble.
What started as a small idea quickly grew into an iconic concept. Started with 2 carts, ended with 6, three times a day! No fewer than 721 reservations were made, accounting for 2,983 meals served. All prepared with love and lots of berries by Nele and her team.
With winter just around the corner, cart meals were given a winter twist: the Thick Bones Meals. Guests could savor a warm, hearty meal in a cozy, covered spot, completely protected from rain and wind. It was the perfect way to indulge in a blissful winter dining experience.

Whether after all this success we are going to release the gas pedal? Hell no! The success of the cart meals has only motivated us to continue. We are already eager for new ideas and fresh concepts. Why? Because there is nothing more fun than sharing all the goodness of nature and the enthusiasm of the owners with people. Our hunger for more is only growing, because admit it, no one should miss this! For us, the future looks only rose ... er, blue!
